EAEU ROHS IN FORCE TRCU-037 March,2020

TR EAEU TR 037 establishes requirements to limit the use of hazardous substances in products (hereinafter “Products”) released into circulation in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, to ensure their free circulation.

Adopted by 113 Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

In accordance with the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission N 24 of 28.02.2017, during the transitional period until 01.03.2020, production and circulation of electrical and radio-electronic products on the territory of the EAEU is allowed without performing conformity assessment and conformity assessment documents.

If other technical regulations of the Customs Union are adopted for Products that establish the requirements for these products, then such products must meet the requirements of all technical regulations of the Customs Union, the effect of which applies to them.

The regulation applies to Products released into circulation on the territory of the Union:

1. Electrical apparatuses and household appliances

2. Electronic computers and devices connected to them, including their combinations

3. Telecommunication appliances (terminal telecommunication devices)

4. Copy machines and other electrical office equipment

5. Electrified Instrument (manual and portable electric machines)

6. Light sources and lighting equipment, including equipment built into furniture.

7. Electric musical instruments

8. Game and trading machines

9. Cash registers, ticket machines, ID card readers, ATMs, Information kiosks

10. Cables, wires and cords intended for use at a rated voltage of not more than 500V AC and /or DC, with the exception of fiber optic cables

11. Automatic switches and residual current circuit breakers

12. Fire, security and fire-security alarm detectors
